TRANSFER

Often, individuals are interested in such a course of action for purposes of being closer to family members, problems with other inmates, or educational opportunities available at other facilities. Transfers are typically obtained through administrative procedures. We are pleased to assemble all documentation to begin the transfer process and contact the Department of Corrections to initiate a transfer. In cases where a transfer to another state to be closer to family there and facilitate re-entry and rehabilitation on release, we are also prepared to work with the client and family to assemble the documentation for requesting an Interstate Compact Transfer, including contacting the Department of Corrections.
